Grenades FC kept their Antigua Premier League (APL) title hopes alive with a commanding 3-1 victory over relegation-threatened Garden Stars on Tuesday, according to Antigua Observer.
The match, played at the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association's (ABFA) Technical Center on Sir Sydney Walling Highway, saw Grenades deliver a composed and determined performance to secure the three points.
As reported by Antigua Observer, a brace from Labrada proved decisive in the contest, providing the clinical edge that separated the two sides and ensured Grenades remained firmly in contention for this season's top-flight title.
Garden Stars, who are battling to avoid the drop from the ABFA's premier division, were unable to mount a sufficient response despite pulling a goal back, ultimately falling to a defeat that does little to ease their relegation concerns.
The result keeps Grenades in the hunt as the APL title race continues to develop.
