The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has reminded the public that the sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited this Good Friday, April 3, 2026. According to Antigua Observer, the restriction is enforced under the Licensing (Intoxicating Liquor) (Amendment) Act, No. 9 of 2014.
Under the provisions of the Act, any licensed premises where intoxicating liquor is sold must comply with the holiday restriction or face legal consequences.
