Four young people are receiving medical treatment after a late-night shooting near Joe Mike's, in the area between Corn Alley and Nevis Street.
Preliminary reports indicate the victims, believed to be between 16 and 20 years old, were walking in the area when a lone gunman — or individuals from another group — opened fire, striking all four.
The victims sustained gunshot wounds to various parts of their bodies, including the hand, side, and leg. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported all four to hospital. Their conditions are reported to be stable.
Police have not yet issued an official statement. Investigations into the shooting are ongoing, and further details are expected as authorities continue their inquiries.
