The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party has accused the United Progressive Party of deliberately providing false voting information to ABLP supporters in three constituencies — St. Mary's North, St. Mary's South, and St. John's Rural East.

In an official statement issued from ABLP Headquarters, the party says it has independently verified that electors in those constituencies are being deliberately misled about where to cast their ballots. The ABLP is characterising the actions as a direct attack on voters' democratic rights.

"Deliberately misleading voters about where to cast their ballot is a direct attack on the democratic rights of voters," the statement read.

The party is urging electors in the affected constituencies to disregard any unofficial instructions and to verify their polling station through official channels only. Voters can confirm their election day information at www.ablpantigua.com.

The statement was signed by Samantha Marshall, Vice-Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party.
