The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has joined forces with the Prices and Consumer Affairs Department to launch the second annual Safe Sleep Initiative, a public awareness campaign focused on promoting safe sleep practices for infants across Antigua and Barbuda.

According to Antigua News Room, organizers issued a notice to media houses outlining the campaign's approach, which includes media engagement, live demonstrations, and public education efforts. The initiative aims to provide families with consistent, reliable information on reducing sleep-related risks for babies.

As part of the campaign schedule, media organizations have been asked to feature daily safe sleep tips to help broaden the initiative's reach.

Organizers stated that the campaign is designed to strengthen public education efforts and encourage safer sleep environments for infants throughout the country.
