The family of the driver involved in a fatal road accident on All Saints Road has issued a public statement expressing grief and confirming full cooperation with authorities, according to Antigua News Room.
The crash occurred on Tuesday, 12th May, 2026, and claimed the life of Okeen Lightfoot. In a statement released to the public, the driver's family extended condolences to Lightfoot's relatives and loved ones while acknowledging the pain the tragedy has caused across the broader community.
"Our family is heartbroken over the devastating events that occurred on Tuesday, 12th May, 2026 on All Saints Road," the family said. "There are truly no words that can fully express the sorrow we feel for the loss of life and the pain this tragedy has caused."
The family stated that their son and the entire household have been deeply shaken by the incident. While noting they are limited in what they can say publicly out of respect for the ongoing investigation, they stressed their commitment to transparency with authorities.
"We want the community to know that we are fully cooperating with authorities as they work to understand all of the circumstances surrounding the accident," the statement read.
