A 21-year-old Greenbay resident has been sentenced to nine months in prison after pleading guilty to possessing an illegal firearm and ammunition, according to Antigua Observer.

Joel Isaac, a farmer, was charged following an incident at Nut Grove on July 27, 2025, where police discovered him in possession of a modified black and orange flare gun and accompanying ammunition.

Isaac entered a guilty plea in connection with the charges, and the court handed down the nine-month custodial sentence as reported by Antigua Observer.
