A distinguished mahogany grand piano, crafted in 1893 in the United Kingdom, has been presented to Her Excellency Sandra Lady Williams by donor Melanie Etherington, further enriching Government House's growing Georgian-era collection of furniture and historic objects.
Government House announced the donation, noting that the piano's lineage traces to the Broadway Company, renowned as the oldest continually operating piano manufacturer of its kind.
The acquisition represents a meaningful addition to the museum's curated display, deepening the historical character of Government House as a cultural landmark for Antigua and Barbuda.
