Freeman's Village Scorpions closed out their 2025/26 First Division campaign on a high note Sunday, delivering a commanding 5-0 shutout victory over Five Islands FC at the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Technical Center.
According to Antigua Observer, Scorpions entered the match having already secured promotion to the Antigua Premier League (APL) for the 2026/27 domestic season, yet showed no sign of complacency against their opponents.
The victory was built on single strikes from Zakeem and several teammates, as the Scorpions demonstrated the form that earned them their top-flight promotion throughout a dominant attacking display.
The result capped what has been a landmark season for the Freeman's Village club, who will now prepare for life in the Antigua Premier League when domestic football resumes for the 2026/27 campaign.
