A 34-year-old All Saints man has been arrested following coordinated drug enforcement operations conducted by the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda in All Saints and Liberta on Friday, May 29. According to Antigua.news, the operations were carried out by officers attached to the Narcotics Department, with support from the K-9 Unit.
During one operation in All Saints, a police K-9 unit alerted officers to the presence of illegal drugs on a property. A subsequent search led to the discovery of approximately one pound of cannabis, which was seized for further investigation.
In a separate incident during the same operational sweep, officers encountered another male All Saints resident found in possession of 104.1 grams of cannabis. He was immediately arrested and transported to Police Headquarters, along with the seized substances.
The operations also extended into Liberta, where officers conducted additional checks as part of broader efforts to target drug distribution networks in the area.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda stated that it remains committed to sustained enforcement operations aimed at reducing the availability of illegal narcotics and enhancing public safety across communities.
