A woman is seeking answers after she was struck and injured by a vehicle on Josephs Lane Sunday evening in what is being described as a hit-and-run incident. According to Antigua News Room, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. and has prompted a public appeal for the driver to come forward.

Information circulating on social media identifies the vehicle involved as a white Suzuki Jeep bearing registration number A35386, which allegedly struck the woman before the driver briefly stopped and then fled the scene. The vehicle has reportedly been traced to a registered owner from Grays Farm, and the public is being urged to have that individual contact the Traffic Department at Police Headquarters.

The woman says she reported the incident to the Grays Farm Police Station shortly after it occurred. However, she claims no officer responded to the scene. She further alleged that an officer she spoke with was dismissive of her concerns and refused to provide his identification number when she requested it.

Police have not yet issued a public statement addressing the allegations. Anyone with information related to the incident is encouraged to contact the relevant authorities.
