A Cashew Hill resident has been sentenced to 12 months in prison after pleading guilty to a drug-related charge in the High Court of Justice.
According to Antigua Observer, Pernod Samuel appeared before Justice John Spencer and admitted to the offence. He was convicted in connection with the possession of more than 15 pounds of cannabis, valued at over $30,000, which was discovered at Cashew Hill.
