A man accused of seriously injuring national cyclist Tahje Browne in a hit-and-run accident has been arrested and charged after authorities intercepted him attempting to leave the country, according to Antigua Observer.
Kishroy Harry of St. Johnson's Village now faces multiple charges, including dangerous driving, driving without the consent of the owner, and driving without a driver's licence, as reported by Antigua Observer.
Browne, a national cyclist, sustained serious injuries in the incident. Harry's attempt to flee Antigua prior to his arrest added further gravity to the case, prompting law enforcement to act swiftly to apprehend him before he could leave the jurisdiction.
