Kishroy Harry, a Vincentian national charged in connection with a collision that left cyclist Tahje Browne hospitalised, has pleaded guilty to all charges and is awaiting sentencing.

According to Antigua News Room, Harry appeared in court on Wednesday and entered guilty pleas to dangerous driving, driving without the owner's consent, driving without a valid driver's licence, and driving without insurance.

The charges stem from a June 20 incident on Sir Sydney Walling Highway, near the Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board, in which a Toyota Vitz struck Browne during an early morning training ride. Video footage of the crash subsequently circulated widely on social media.

Browne underwent surgery following the collision and remains in recovery.

Prosecutors informed the court that Harry was apprehended one day after the incident while attempting to board a flight to St Vincent. Investigators further allege that Harry disposed of the clothing he had been wearing at the time of the crash prior to his arrest.

Harry has been remanded to His Majesty's Prison and is scheduled to return to court on July 1 for sentencing.
