Senator Shaquan O'Neil has donated medical supplies and equipment to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC), reaffirming his commitment to supporting the institution and the broader community.
According to Antigua News Room, the donation included hygiene and cleaning items as well as screens intended for public education and training purposes across the hospital.
During a brief presentation ceremony, Senator O'Neil pledged to continue providing assistance to the hospital going forward. The Honourable Michael Joseph, Minister of Health, Wellness, The Environment and Civic Affairs, expressed gratitude for the contribution and praised the Senator's efforts.
The hospital's Medical Director also welcomed the donation, highlighting the critical importance of corporate and community support as SLBMC works to enhance its services and improve patient care and experiences.
