Education Minister Daryll S. Matthew has publicly congratulated national cyclist Tahjé Browne on his graduation from the Antigua and Barbuda College of Advanced Studies (ABCAS), calling the achievement a powerful demonstration of resilience following a serious accident that nearly cost Browne his life.
According to Antigua News Room, Minister Matthew shared his congratulatory message on social media, framing Browne's academic milestone within the context of the athlete's remarkable personal recovery.
"Despite the near tragedy you experienced, God's grace has brought you safely to this milestone," Matthew wrote. "Your perseverance, resilience, and determination have carried you across yet another finish line."
The minister expressed hope that the graduation would mark the beginning of even greater achievements for Browne, both in his cycling career and in other areas of his life. He also extended wishes for continued good health, blessings, and future success.
