The Ministry of Education tracks students' academic performance from the Grade Six National Assessment through to the fifth form level, Director of Education Clare Browne has confirmed.
Browne said the approach forms part of a wider effort to improve student outcomes nationally. Individual- and school-level performance data are compiled as part of the initiative, he added.
The tracking system represents a structured, longitudinal approach to monitoring how students progress through their academic careers, allowing education authorities to identify trends and intervene where necessary at both the individual and institutional levels.
