Health Minister Michael Joseph has reaffirmed the government's commitment to the safe, responsible, and transparent development of Antigua and Barbuda's medicinal cannabis industry, according to Antigua Observer.
The pledge followed an extensive tour of the Antigua and Barbuda Medicinal Cannabis Authority and its licensed facilities. Minister Joseph was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kamaria DeCastro during the visit.
The tour provided officials with a firsthand look at the operations of the Authority and the facilities operating under its licensing framework, as the government continues to develop the sector.
