Omar Nathaniel of Radio Range, St. John's, Antigua has declared under oath that his life insurance policy (No. 078106004), originally issued by Sagicor Life Inc. and later assumed by Sagicor Life (Eastern Caribbean) Inc., has been lost. He has applied for a duplicate policy to be issued. Unless an objection is raised within one month, the duplicate will be granted.
The Antigua and Barbuda Trademarks Office published registration applications for numerous trademarks from both international and local companies, covering a wide range of goods and services including real estate, technology, cosmetics, clothing, tobacco, automobiles, water treatment, pharmaceuticals, eyewear, hospitality, beverages, and financial services. Applicants include major global corporations such as Coldwell Banker LLC, Xiaomi Inc., Patagonia Inc., BYD Company Limited, MasterCard International, Philip Morris Brands Sarl, Hewlett-Packard Development Company, Culligan International, Sothys International, Serge Island Dairies, Dunhill Tobacco of London, British American Tobacco, CPS Technology Holding LLC (brands CLARIOS and LTH), Six Continents Limited (VIGNETTE), Siegfried Rhein S.A. (DORMICUM), Caribbean Licensing Corporation, and local Antiguan business ShoeBox and Open Box Enterprise. Any person may oppose registration within three months of the notice's first appearance in the gazette.
The Trademarks Office issued corrections for three trademark notices that had previously been published in error in earlier gazette editions. The corrected notices relate to 'Coldwell Banker' (originally published May 8, 2025), 'Mix' by Xiaomi Inc. (originally published March 23, 2022), and 'Sothys' by Sothys International (originally published May 2, 2019).
